Goal

The goal of the complete draft and final edited project is to synthesize all prior work into a cohesive research paper analyzing your collected Islands data.

To Turn In

  • As a group:
    • In existing Deepnote project go back to the notebook you used for the draft and make any changes or additions based on feedback you received. All members contribute to both writing and computation.
  • Individually:
    • Personal reflection as a PDF file submitted individually to Canvas.
    • Group dynamic report submitted as a PDF file individually to Canvas.

Reflection and Group Dynamics

Each student must individually submit:

  • Personal Reflection (1–2 pages):
    Describe what you learned from the Islands Project.
    Address questions such as:
    • Which parts were most enjoyable or most challenging?
    • Which parts connected most to class material?
    • Which skills transfer to other contexts?
    • What statistical ideas do you want to explore further?
  • Group Dynamic Report:
    Reflect on collaboration quality and role distribution.
    Discuss:
    • Whether all members contributed equally.
    • How well task division and assigned roles worked.
    • Any concerns or commendations regarding group performance.
    • Anything you wish to share confidentially about teamwork.
